Change the way you think and your world will change

This book is a compilation of essays written by Brianna Wiest, an award winning author who uses her educational background in sociology to write novels about spiritual, psychological and mindfulness subjects. Topics in this book include various aspects of psychology, speaking about cognition, emotion and behaviours! Her essays feature:

1. Indicators of healthy behaviours and how to achieve them, through her essays titled “20 Signs You’re Doing Better Than You Think You Are”, “Things Emotionally Healthy People Know How To Do”, and “How To Become The Kind Of Person Who Deserves The Life You Want”
2. Explanations of behaviours, through her essays titled, “The Six Pillars Of Self Esteem: Why It Is Not How You Feel, But What You Think You’re Capable Of”, “6 Signs You Have A Healthy Social Sensitivity”, and “Uncomfortable Feelings That Actually Indicate You’re On The Right Path”
3. Lists to provide even further insight, through her essays titled, “8 Cognitive Biases That Are Creating The Way You Experience Your Life”, “How To Think For Yourself: An 8 Step Guide”, “The 15 Most Common Types Of Distorted Thinking”

This book is a great one to pick up and put down at your own leisure! Coming in at a total of 441 pages, complete with 101 essays, each essay is roughly four and a half pages. This makes it perfect for a quick read during the day, starting your day off with a fresh perspective, or even reflecting while reading before bed. Honestly, I love this book! It’s great to skim through the table of contents, and browse through the many titles and choose what you would like to hear that day!
